Wrap-Around Care
The goal of our program is to provide the women in it with wrap-around care that supports their lives during work and beyond. We assess basic needs such as housing, childcare, transportation and health, and are able to connect women with outside providers if they need a service we cannot provide onsite. Our case management is why we are able to offer wrap-around care.
Case Management
At Women’s Bean Project we host a group of Master of Social Work (MSW) students from across Denver who work with every woman we hire. Our case management team provides personalized assistance and coaching to each woman. The goal is to connect women to the basic needs resources they require, such as housing, childcare or health support, as well as to help each woman on her personal goals. By meeting women where they are, we create a program that is relevant to each person we hire.
Every woman in our program meets with their case manager on a weekly basis throughout their time at Women’s Bean Project. During these meetings women have the opportunity to discuss their needs, set goals and check in on them and talk about whatever is happening in their world.
Our case management team creates the backbone of our work and is crucial to the success of the women in our program. If you’re interested in working at Women’s Bean Project for your MSW field placement you can contact [email protected] with the subject “MSW Internship.”
