Homemade Chocolate Brownie Recipe

Some people tell us this is our best product. We have to agree that our homemade chocolate brownies are hard to beat. While it is hard to improve on this moist, chewy perfection, we encourage you to try different additions to our brownies. We’ve had them frosted, with nuts on top or inside, and with raspberry preserves baked in. Yum! For the ultimate rich treat, those moist, delicious brownies will bring a smile to your face. Top them with fruit or nuts for a great after school snack. Rich cocoa flavor, Just add butter and eggs, Kosher certified.

  • 1 package Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tbsp butter (optional 6 tbsp vs. 4 tbsp. for a more fudgy texture)
  • powdered sugar (optional ingredient for topping)
  • fruit (optional ingredient for topping)
  • nuts (optional ingredient)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt 4 tbsp. of butter in a microwave safe mixing bowl.
  3. Add 2 eggs and beat well by hand.
  4. Gradually combine dry brownie mix into wet mixture beating by hand until well blended.
  5. Lightly grease an 8″ square baking pan.
  6. Spread batter evenly into lightly greased pan.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until sides of brownies begin to pull away from the pan.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack, sprinkle powder sugar or topping of choice, then lightly loosen sides and cut to desired servings.

Recipe Notes

Ingredients: sugar, unbleached organic wheat flour, alkalized cocoa powder, artificial and natural vanilla flavor (dextrose, corn starch, sugar), salt, baking powder (calcium phosphate, baking soda, corn starch). Contains wheat.
