- Marinate ribs in a large container with apple juice and garlic overnight. Remove from marinade four hours before serve time.
- Mix the spice blends and cumin together and set aside. With a basting brush, coat the ribs in a light layer of plum sauce. This is to help the rub stick!
- Coat ribs on all sides with dry rub mix. Let sit for two hours.
- Place ribs on a large baking tray and broil on the top rack at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour. Lower the heat to 250 degrees, move ribs to the center rack, and bake for 1 hour.
- Turn the oven off and let ribs rest in the remaining warmth for 20 minutes. Serve with your favorite sweet and spicy BBQ sauce.
